YUSUF GOT AN ACCIDENT

Yusuf is only 13 years old, but his life has already carried more weight than most. As an orphan, the orphanage is not just where he lives—it is his home, his safety, his family. Every day, he walks to and from school with hope in his heart, determined to build a better future despite the hardships he has faced.

On the 27th of May, that journey home turned into a nightmare.

As Yusuf walked back from school, a taxi crowded with passengers lost control and struck him. In a horrifying moment, he was dragged nearly 10 meters beneath its tires. What should have been an ordinary afternoon became a fight for his life.

The injuries were devastating. Yusuf’s right leg was severely dislocated at the knee. The right side of his face was torn, and his ear was nearly cut off. He also suffered serious internal injuries to his head and body. For a time, it seemed as though we might lose him.

But Yusuf is strong.

Against all odds, he is still with us. He is currently receiving treatment, and while the road to recovery is long and painful, there is hope. Doctors believe that, if his progress continues, he may be discharged in about two weeks. Every small step forward feels like a miracle.

Even in pain, Yusuf shows courage. Even in silence, he reminds us what resilience looks like.

At this moment, he needs more than medical care—he needs a community. He needs prayers, support, and compassion from people willing to stand with him in his darkest hour.

His recovery will require ongoing care, and the burden is heavy for the orphanage alone.
